In this collection of lessons we focus on Understanding the Basics of Grid Design. We'll get started by learning what a grid is and why it's important to layout based designs. From there we'll break down a grid into it's basic components and learn what each one does. Next we'll begin learning about the four basic types of grid and what type of project they are best suited for. We'll wrap things up by learning how and why it is sometimes best to compound one grid inside another.
